Damon's Story

Tears stung his eyes and the rage whirling within twisted relentlessly at his heart. Two of his children laid at his feet, strangled and stabbed by the masked attackers. His throat thickened with sobs and he tilted his head to the darkened sky, turning his cries into a scream that shook the smoldering structures around him.

Sinking to his knees, he heaved them both into his lap, trembling from the fury shooting through his entire nervous system. He didn’t notice when Genevieve arrived, but when his focus returned her hands were running through Rory’s hair, while humming their bedtime song. His blood-shot eyes squinted over at her, scrutinizing her blank expression.

“Genevieve?” his voice was barely a whisper. “Where’s Landon?”

Her hum grew louder, shaking her head to dismiss his words. An ice pick jammed into his heart as he twisted to face her, grasping firmly onto her shoulders.

“Where is Landon?” he asked, raising his voice an octave as his blood froze within his veins and his vision blurred with rage.

She ignored him again, leaning over and kissing Rory’s and Dawn’s cheeks. Her humming was grating at his nerves and it continued to rise in volume, crushing his heart and soul with the thought of his youngest child’s safety.

Shadows in Our Souls

Writing has always been my escape. During the times in my life, when the thunder is striking and the winds are howling, I've best dealt with the pain, heartache, and trauma, by picking up a pen (preferably purple ink 😉) and writing until my fingers begged for me to stop. My life path has taught me to rise, despite the anguish and misery the world throws at me.

Theia's Moons is a book series about empowerment, strength, and undying loyalty and love. Malkia is faced with not only the outer demons, but her own inner ones as well. Just like each of us, she must learn to subdue and control the darkness we all have snaking within ourselves. Our lives have never been about denying the shadows and murkiness of our souls, but learning to rise above the doom and gloom and embracing ourselves in self-love.

I often say, Theia's Moons is my gift to the world, and I mean it. This will be a story that won't be forgotten, long after it's read!

Protectors of the Stars

Exciting news!  Book three of Theia's Moons book cover has been completed!

Protectors of the Stars

Rising to be a warrior, first requires a bow upon ones knees.

Malkia’s daughter is gone.

Her life is in shambles, and she blames her mothers for their participation in the events that have led her to this place in time. A heavenly war that was started before her birth, a father who despises her because of the powers she possesses, and the separation between her and Esta. Too much heartache and no end in sight.

A desire to know the truth of her existence and her past, leads her down a path of ancient secrets and knowledge. However, the journey is met with many roadblocks, with the entire remaining population of Artemis seeking for her execution. Not to mention, she must find a way to break through her own grief for the one man who is supposed to adore her, in order to be reunited with her baby girl.

Her fire within is brewing, while all the moons of Theia are depending on her to end the tyranny of her father’s supremacy. Will she learn to contain the darkness or will her father’s ploys destroy everything she holds dear?

Isn't it stunning?!?!
